Did you know that you could get Pokemon Christmas cards to send to your friends and family this holiday season?  I tripped over them quite by accident and so had to share them.

Since the advent of Pokemon Go I have found the number of people in my circles who are now Pokemon fans has absolutely exploded.   I know they will love to receive a Pokemon themed card.

The most common Pokemon that people seem to recognize is Pikachu and he is popping up all over the place in my part of the world so let’s look at a few Pikachu Christmas cards……

The Holidays Are Always Better Together Card

I love the holiday card with the Pokemon friends all sitting by the Christmas tree, you can imagine that they’re waiting for Santa to arrive with all of their gifts!
Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Charmander are the four inspirations behind this card – the only thing that I think could make this card better is if there was a Pokeball on top of the tree instead of a star!
The other two cards are also cool starring a very festive looking Jigglypuff on one card or Psyduck wearing a paper hat from a Christmas bonbon on another. It’s so hard to choose just one card from this page isn’t it? Luckily I do have a solution to this question further down the page.

I love the art so much I’m tempted to buy the cards and put them in small white box frames as a gift for my Pokemon Go playing brother as they would look great in his home office!

It’s All About the Pokeball!

For Pokemon Go fans who don’t have a favorite Pokemon (or you don’t know their favorite) there’s one important thing that they all need – Pokeballs!   Here are some of the cool Pokeball Pokemon Go Christmas cards to choose from –

When looking for a cute dog inspired holiday card you can’t go past dalmatian Christmas cards.

The second card is really cute and is based on actual photographs of dalmatians. I’m not sure which style I prefer, but I do love them both.

Unleash Your Inner Geek This Holiday Season – Cool Geek Inspired Christmas Cards

Forget about sending e-cards to your computer savvy friends this year – send these internet inspired Christmas cards instead. A really unique way of saying Happy Holidays is with their own personal Google Doodle or if they don’t Google regularly (and doesn’t everybody?) then maybe a Facebook inspired card or a Twitter inspired card would be a better idea.

I love the Google Doodles and it’s always fun to see what they come up with in the lead up to (and on) Christmas day which is why I am absolutely over the moon that you can now get some of the ex-Google Doodles as Christmas cards. Unique Geek Inspired Christmas Cards That Will Stand Out

Although you no longer have to go to the google home page to search these days I do enjoy looking to see the latest ‘Google Doodle’ as there have been some really good ones over the years. Who ever was the person that decided to put these illustrations on cards is a genius and these holiday greetings are so much fun I really wish that I would get sent a few of them myself!

I actually tweet instead of using Facebook and so does my brother so a 140 character Christmas greeting could go a long way in saying ‘..we tweet you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year….#christmas #cards…’

Okay, I’ve now ventured into Facebook and find myself posting on there more than tweeting, but I still think that this is a cool Christmas card and is still the perfect one to send my brother!

Since I ‘discovered’ this cool Twitter inspired card I’ve come across another one with I absolutely love too, it’s very retro inspired and has got me caught between the two of them as to what one I should get for the little brother – let me know your favorite in the comments below –

Match Your Vintage Cards With Some Great Postage Stamps This Holiday Season!

We’re often careful to make sure our holiday tableware is all matching and that our Christmas tree has a theme, but what about matching your Christmas cards with your postage stamps? This looks really great and is bound to have your friends and family wondering how on earth you managed to get cards to match your postage stamps.

You are more than welcome to send them to me or you can keep your ‘secret’ to yourself! You can purchase all different types of matching Christmas cards and postage stamps, but I’m going to look at vintage designs here because vintage Christmas designs look awesome on both cards and stamps.

Santa is the long time ‘face of Christmas’ and even in these vintage style cards he’s the star of the show! There really wouldn’t be a Christmas without Santa, so many of our holiday traditions are centered around him.

We sprinkle reindeer food out on the front lawn on Christmas Eve so that Santa can guide all of his reindeer down safely and we leave out food and drink for him to sustain him through his busy night – heck we even track his journey online! The holidays without old St Nick is inconceivable!

Fun Snowman Greeting Cards with Matching Postal Stamps

Building a snowman is always fun and is one of those things that remains constant over the years. Snowmen have long been associated with winter (of course!) and Christmas.

Why the snowman first became a symbol of the holidays isn’t really known, but the popularity of the song Frosty the Snowman and the publishing of the book and then the film about Frosty has all culminated in the snowman becoming a quintessential symbol of Christmastime.

The True Meaning of the Holidays

With all of the hoopla about Christmas it’s easy to get caught up in the hype and forget what the true meaning behind Christmas is – the birth of Jesus Christ. You can celebrate the Nativity while spreading the message to friends and family with these great vintage inspired Nativity scenes on both your cards and postage stamps.

Am I the only one who actually wonders what color Mary actually did wear? It’s something I remember asking as a child, but I can’t remember getting a definitive answer from anyone. Blue certainly seems fitting as it’s a calm color which is what you’d expect for the mother of Jesus.

Get a Christmas Card Featuring Your Favorite Dog?

I always make sure that my dogs have a present under the Christmas tree every year, but I didn’t think about popping them on our Christmas card until recent years.

Boston Terrier Christmas Cards

A Very Cheeky Dog Indeed!

I met my first Boston Terrier only a few years ago when our Amstaff first came to us and we went to puppy school. A little Boston Terrier pup came over and proceeded to try and show our little man that he was the boss – Roman just looked at him and back at us as though to say – is he serious?

They enjoyed playing together quite a bit and I have to say that Max (the Boston Terrier) acted as cheeky as he looked which is apparently one of their traits. Unfortunately they moved away so we couldn’t keep the dogs friendship up, but I can totally understand how once you’ve owned one Boston Terrier you can be completely hooked!

I think any of these Christmas cards would be great, but the first one with the dog tangled in lights really seems like something Max would’ve done so if you’re unsure and you want another opinion – pick that card!

Boxers are pretty cool dogs too (I’ll confess there’s not many dogs I don’t fall for though!), but I think boxer pups are even cuter! I can still remember over 20 years ago a girl I worked with came to show off her new boxer pup and I felt like running away with it – he was so cute! I don’t know much about the boxer’s personality so I’m not sure which Christmas card is the best one to send, but I particularly like the cartoon boxer taking a letter to the mail box.
